Brand Yourself With Your Promotional Materials

If you’re a writer or business person, you need quality promotional materials to give to prospective clients, editors, and other people you will network with.
Don’t settle for a generic business card. Have one created just for you. That way, it will help “brand” you in your particular niche.
Since I earn most of my income from writing for children, I wanted my business card to have a whimsical quality, yet feature something from my web site and one of my books. That way, when people visit my web site or see my card, they will immediately make the connection between the two. Plus, everything will help create my “brand” as a children’s writer.
Here’s my business card:

As an author, I also need postcards to send to readers, bookstores, newspapers, etc. I wanted those to include something also found on my web site and on my business card.

Visit my web site and you’ll see how all of these items have a common thread and help to “brand” me as a children’s writer.
Oh, and by the way, Lisa Harkrader, the newest member of The Lieurance Group created both my business card and my postcard. She specializes in promotional items for authors. Email her directly if you would like for her to create some promotional materials for you.
Happy branding!
