A Look Forward deserves A Look Backward…
As I put on the finishing touches to my Cafe Press virtual store (which will never be “finished” by the way) and began writing on some client’s projects,taking a ride to the bank to deposit checks, and updating some blogs of mine and so forth….I thought back to just a matter of months ago.
My daily life as a professional freelance writer is starting to become a routine. Updating of spreadsheets, answering my never ending inbox of emails and pursuing writing leads. Wow….what was life like BEFORE this? I’ll tell you what it was….a top 5 list if you will:
5. Boring
4. Mundane
3. Did I mention boring?
2. The Sunday night Dreads (c’mon, do I really have to explain that?)
1. The every day is Monday syndrome because it’s Corporate America Mon - Friday
Now?
5. Fun
4. Challenging
3. Not enough hours in the day
2. Flexible
1. A sense of self in every way! (I believe that is “yippeeee” in translation)
