Tip on When to Submit Articles

Submitting articles to article sites is one of the most effective ways to drive targeted traffic to your Web site, as you probably already know.
Just last night, I learned a tip about how to raise your rank in the organic search engines (as opposed to pay per click advertising) with articles.
First, you should put your article on your Web site before you submit it to any ezine directories. Put each article on a separate page of your site.
Why? This adds new content, which the search engines love. You will rise higher in their indexing.
Also, putting it on your site first establishes you as the author. Otherwise you will look like you picked it up from the article directories, rather than vice versa.
You should wait until the search engines have indexed that article on your site before you submit to articles directories. You do this by putting the article name in the search box of the search engines. If it comes up, you know it’s been indexed. If not, check a day or two later.
When it does show up, you can then submit to the article directories.
Try this, and let me know what happens!

Hi Diane,
I read with interest your post today at the lieurancegroup.blogspot.com
How interesting. I didn’t know I could post my articles on my website prior to submission to another ezine site. Thank you for that tip. I always read your comments, your articles, actually I hunt for the things you have to say because I value your opinion.
Thanks again for turning on the light on this one.
