One of the things I do on my own blog is to screen resources for people who are interested in writing and publishing. I feel passionately that writers deserve to make a decent living through their valuable skill. This has not been true in the past—most writers of all types have been, and continue to be, notoriously underpaid.
Well, it doesn’t have to be that way anymore!
I’ve uncovered some people who have treasure chests of knowledge to share. This week, I want to point you to two timely resources in particular. The first one is TOMORROW, April 19, and the second is on Monday, April 23. Both are free teleseminars by people who I know give good content.
The first is for book authors. It’s a 75-minute telephone seminar by Steve Harrison on what the top 3% of authors do that most authors don’t. Again, it’s on Thursday, April 19, and you have a choice of two time slots: either 2:00 pm Eastern (11 am Pacific) OR 7:00 pm Eastern (4:00 pm Pacific). Steve has worked with 9,300+ authors over the last 19 years, and says that the top 3% of authors do seven key things differently than poor authors. Find out what these seven things are by signing up. (If you can’t make it, he often offers a replay line.) If you’ve written, or are thinking of writing, a book—I think you need this teleseminar!
The second is a special call by Jeff Herring, “the Internet Article Guy.” Jeff has built a whole business on articles, and shows you how to do it, too. He has free teleseminars every week, but next Monday, April 23, he’s offering a preview call for his “4 Pillars of Wildly Successful Article Writing & Marketing” telecourse that’s going to start soon. Check him out—you’ll learn a ton, even from his free stuff. I know I have!
