Dorit Sasson is a New York City native, ESL teacher and freelance writer. Dorit holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees in English literature from the University of Haifa. She successfully taught English language learners in various schools in Israel for the last eleven years and returned to live back in the States in the summer of 2007.
In pursuing her dream to become a successful freelance writer, Dorit experimented with different types of writing such as educational materials and online articles on new teacher support before joining Suzanne Lieurance’s working writing boot camp. She is currently at work coauthoring a book, Developing Literacy in K-2 English language learners through Collaboration, which is currently under consideration by a publilsher.
